This page explains the authorized partner framework and links to the related policy and program pages covering pricing, operations, advertising and online sales, and special programs.
Authorized Partners may hold one or more designations depending on how they participate in the Poseidon program. Some participate as retail dealers, some as authorized service centers, and some as both. Across all designations, partners are expected to operate under an approved business identity, represent Poseidon accurately and responsibly, follow applicable pricing, channel, and policy requirements, and contact PDL when clarification is needed.
Standard Dealer: Authorized to retail Poseidon products through approved channels. Standard Dealers are expected to maintain appropriate product knowledge, represent the brand responsibly, and support routine customer sales and training activity.
Flagship Dealer: Retail partner selected for the quality of its product presentation, customer-facing execution, and visible commitment to representing the Poseidon brand. Flagship Dealers are expected to present Poseidon as a meaningful part of the business through knowledgeable sales support, effective merchandising, and consistent customer engagement.
Authorized Service Center: Authorized to perform designated inspection, maintenance, and repair functions on Poseidon products using approved procedures and OEM parts. Service Center status may exist as a standalone designation or in combination with dealer status. Retail dealer status is separate and requires specific approval.
PDL may refine or expand partner designations over time as the network evolves.
Published versions of three different confidential price lists are available: Products, Rebreather, and Parts. Each is available as a printable PDF document and as a simplified Excel spreadsheet (.xlsx).
Published price lists are informational and may not reflect current pricing at the time of order. Pricing, availability, and product status change, so final pricing is determined through the partner portal when an order is placed.
The margins mentioned are typical for PDL pricing, but margins on specific items can vary significantly.
Partner designation and pricing level are separate. Pricing is assigned case by case based on the nature of the partner relationship, the products involved, and the overall commercial opportunity. It is not based on annual purchase volume alone.
The Operations Policies page outlines the day-to-day operating policies for authorized partners, including how orders are placed, how payment is handled, how products are shipped, and how returns are handled. It is intended as a practical reference for routine partner transactions.
The Advertising and Online Sales Policies page outlines standards for approved online sales activity in the US, including advertising, MAP, marketplace restrictions, and related brand-presentation requirements.
These programs describe conditional benefits that may apply in specific situations. Each program has its own rules, eligibility requirements, and operating details.
